Baby Shark Birthday Cake

Cake Mix 

  1. 2 gluten and dairy free cake box mixes, and demanded constituents 

Dairy Free 

Buttercream 

Frosting 

  1. 1 c win shortening 
  2.  1 c dairy free adulation 
  3.  2 tsp clear vanilla excerpt 
  4.  8 c confectioners sugar 
  5.  4 tbsp dairy free milk 

Instructions 

Shark Cake Mix 

  1. Set up the visage according to box instructions. Cover the inside of the visage and heating rod with shortening and a light dusting of gluten free flour. 
  2. Singe 5 ½ to 6 mugs of cake blend in the visage. Allow to cool fully before removing the cake from the visage to a cake plate. 
  3. The cake may be tightly wrapped in saran serape and placed in the refrigerator for a day previous to icing and serving. 

Dairy Free Buttercream Icing 

  1. Cream dairy free adulation and shortening with a hand mixer. Add vanilla. 
  2. Gradationally add in confectioners sugar 1 mug at a time, scraping down the coliseum as demanded.
  3. Dairy free milk can be added to the bowl and beaten until light and fluffy. However, I’d suggest chilling the icing for 30 twinkles to slightly harden, If you’ll be incontinently icing your cake. 
  4.  Buttercream icing may be cooled for over 2 weeks. 

Steps to Ice your Shark cake 

  1.  To shade icing peak buttercream into 5 different coliseums 
  2.  ¼ c black color 
  3. ¼ c red color 
  4.  ¼ c light red color 
  5.  The color combination of blue and black delphiniums 
  6.  Reserve remaining icing for white 

Pipe the Mouth 

  1. Place red icing in decorating bag with# 3 tips. Pipe an upside down crescent shape, forming the inside of the Shark mouth. Smooth as demanded. 

Ice Remainder of the cake 

  1. White frosting should be placed in a decorating bag with a # 1A tip. Pipe around the outside of the mouth, also half of the cake. Set away ¼ c white icing for the teeth. 
  2. Coming place dark argentine icing in decorating bag with# 1A tip and ice remainder of cake. Be careful with blending the argentine and white lines. Use a phased spatula to smooth icing if demanded. 

Pipe Teeth and Gums 

  1. Place a# 3 tip into an ornamental bag with white icing. Pipe teeth and smooth with your cake or spatula. 
  2. Now place a# 3 tips and light red icing into an ornamental bag. Pipe a line around the top and bottom of mouth for the Shark’s epoxies.

Pipe Eyes 

Using a# 1A tip and black icing in the ornamental bag, pipe the eyes. If demanded, stroke down icing with your cake using cornstarch or arrowroot greasepaint. 

Make Nostrils 

Dipping your cake in cornstarch or arrowroot greasepaint, mark nostril holes. You can serve this cake incontinently or keep cooled up to a day before serving. Still it’ll taste stylish the day it’s iced.
